Model 501 Bin Level Switches provide reliable response to the presence or absence of dry media within bins and hoppers. U.L. and C.S.A. Listed integral explosion-proof and weatherproof housing is compact, lightweight and rated NEMA 7 & 9 for Class I, Groups C and D, Glass II, Groups E, F and G, and Class III hazardous locations. Three adjustable models can be set from a sensitive .05 pounds of force up to 6.0 pounds. Unique cantilevered diaphragm assembly responds to force from any direction and allows installation in any position. Housing design accepts reference pressure on the back side of the sensing diaphragm for applications on pressurized containers.

SUGGESTED SPECIFICATIONS
Bin level switches shall be diaphragm opened with 6" diaphragm to actuate a single pole, double throw snap switch. Motion of the diaphragm shall be restrained by a calibrated spring that can be adjusted to the exact pressure at which the electrical switch will be actuated. Motion of the diaphragm shall be transmitted to the switch by means of a direct mechanical linkage. Switch(es) shall be Dwyer Instruments, Inc. Catalog No. 501-____ for the required operating range.
