Mark 6 Protected Reed
  • The Protected Reed Switch features one or two SPST or SPDT switches in a rugged sealed enclosure. Contacts are magnetically triggered through the base of the housing, eliminating bushings, seals, shafts, cams and internal moving parts. A flexible bearing accommodates minor mounting misalignments, speeding installation.
  • UL & CSA listed Class I, Groups A, B, C, D; Class II, Groups E, F, G; Division 1 & 2 atmospheres and meets IP68 submersible - 50' (15.2m).
  • Designed to meet NEMA 1,2,3,3R,3S,4,4X,6,6P,7,9,12,13.
  • Hermetically sealed reed contacts are ideal for solid state circuits.
  • Protective circuitry guards against current and voltage surges.
  • Optional red and green "Jumbo" LED's indicate energized circuits.
  • Housing options: anodized aluminum, triple epoxy coated aluminum clear plastic cover and up to 3 conduit entrances in housing base.
  • Visual indicator standard for direct drive, automated quarter turn.
  • Standard operating temperature: -65°F to 180°F (-54° C to 82° C).
