Large Display Universal Process Meter (Model PD650)
The PD650 Large Display Universal Process Meter features
2.3" high digits housed in a rugged die cast aluminum NEMA 4X enclosure.
The PD650 accepts the common process signals such as 4-20 mA, 0-5 VDC,
and 0-10 VDC. It has all the features of the PD690
as well as a few new ones: dual 24 volt isolated power supplies for both
the input and output loops and built-in relay suppression for more consistent
relay operation. The PD650 can also function as a flow rate/totalizer,
operating like our PD692. Features include: alternating
rate/total display, programmable time base of second, minute or hour,
automatic total reset, square root extraction, and many more.

Noise Filter
The field selectable noise filter allows the meter to be programmed so that an unsteady (noisy) input can be displayed with greater stability.

- INPUTS: Field selectable: 4-20 mA, 0-20 mA, 0-5 V, 1-5 V, 0-10 V.
- DISPLAY: 6 digit, 2.3" (58mm) high efficiency red LED. Rate: 0 to 29,999(0) with selectable extra zero. Total: 0 to 999,999. Automatic lead zero blanking.
- LINEAR INPUT ACCURACY: 0.05% of calibrated span, +/- 1 count.
- SQUARE ROOT EXTRACTION ACCURACY: +/-0.1% F.S. +/-1 count from 10-100% of flow.
- INPUT IMPEDANCE: Voltage ranges, greater than 300 Kohm; current ranges, 100 ohm.
- CALIBRATION: May be calibrated using internal calibration or by applying an external calibration signal.
- CALIBRATION RANGE: 4 mA (1 V) input may be set anywhere in range of the meter. 20 mA (5 V) may be set anywhere in range of the meter, above or below 4 mA (1V) input.
- MINIMUM INPUT SPAN: 1.6 mA between points.
- LOOP POWER: Isolated, up to 20 mA at 24 VDC regulated +/-5%, noise less than 10 mVpp. Max. loop resistance of 1200 ohm. Dual outputs can power both an external transmitter and 4-20 mA output signal.
- NON-VOLATILE MEMORY: All programming values are stored in non-volatile memory for ten years if power is lost.
- LOCKOUT: Jumper inside instrument restricts modification of calibration values.
- POWER: AC power: 115 or 230 VAC (field Select) +/-10%, 50/60 Hz,12 VA.
- ENVIRONMENTAL: Operating temperature range: 0 to 65¡C
- ENCLOSURE: Die Cast Aluminum, NEMA 4X; Four 1/2" conduit holes provided at base. Mounting: Enclosure contains four 1/4" holes for wall-mounting.
- CONNECTIONS: Removable screw terminal block (provided).
- RELAY RATINGS: 2 or 4 SPDT (form C); rated 2 Amp @ 30 VDC or 2 Amp @250 VAC resistive load; 1/14 HP @ 125 / 250 VAC for inductive loads. Built-in suppression.
