Precision Digital's Universal Temperature
Meters handle temperature displaying, alarming and re-transmitting applications with
simplicity, accuracy and reliability. The PD750 is available with up to 4 relays, isolated
4-20 mA output, and is factory programmed for easy field selection of the thermocouple or
RTD type. Just select your input type (J,K,T,E,R,S thermocouple or 100 ohm RTD), and
either Fahrenheit or Celsius and connect the sensor. The PD751 accepts 10 ohm copper while
the PD752 accepts 120 ohm nickel RTD inputs.

The PD750, equipped with the isolated 4-20 mA output signal option turns the unit into
a temperature transmitter with a digital display. This 4-20 mA signal is linearized, cold
junction compensated and may be scaled for practically any range.

Basic Meter
- INPUTS: Field selectable: type J,K,T,E,R, or S thermocouples
with 1o resolution; type T to 0.1o; 100 ohm platinum
(0.00385 or 0.00392 curve), 10 ohm copper or 120 ohm nickel RTDs with 1o
or 0.1o resolution.
- DISPLAY: Bright, large, 0.56" (14.2mm) high efficiency red
or green LED, 41/2 digits. F or C may be switched on to indicate Fahrenheit or Celsius.
- COLD JUNCTION REFERENCE: Automatic, fixed, no user calibration
needed.
- T/C OPEN INDICATION: Open thermocouple circuit indicated by
flashing display. Status of relays determined by setting.
- HOLD READING: Connect switch to ACK/HLD and COM terminals, also
connect jumper pins at rear.
- INPUT IMPEDANCE: Greater than 100 Kohms.
- NON-VOLATILE MEMORY: All programming values are stored in non-volatile
memory for ten years if power is lost.

Relays
- RATING: 2 or 4 relays; 2 Amp SPDT (form C). The contacts are
rated 2 Amp @ 30 VDC or 2 Amp @ 250 VAC resistive load; 1/14 HP @ 125 / 250 VAC for NC
contacts and 1/10 HP @ 125 / 250 VAC for NO contacts, inductive load.
- RESET: User Select.
1. Automatically when the input passes the reset point.
2. Automatically + manually (via user supplied switch or front panel ACK button).
- FAILSAFE OPERATION: The relay coils are energized in the
non-alarm condition. In the case of a power failure, the relays will go to the alarm
state. May be disabled with internal jumper.
- AUTO INITIALIZATION: When power is applied to the meter, the
relays will always reflect the state of the input to the meter.
- DEADBAND: 0-100%, User Selectable.
