Tasco Valve Shortcut Flange Refacer

The "SHORT CUT" is a portable flange refacer that can be taken to the job anywhere; aboard ship, in the plant or refinery, or in the shop. By taking the machine to the work instead of the work to the machine, you avoid the slow and costly job of removal or dismantling.

 TASCO Shortcut  

The MARK I SHORT CUT will handle flat, recessed or raised-face flanges up to 10 5/8" outside diameter. For raised-face flanges, the MARK I is located by means of an adapter plate which has a bore corresponding to the OD of the raised face. A set of 10 adapter plates is supplied.

For flat or recessed face flanges, an optional 4-jaw adapter chuck is available as an accessory. This locates and clamps the SHORT CUT from the OD of the flanges and provides complete tool accessability over the entire 10 5/8" face.

The MARK II SHORT CUT fulfills the need for a machine having small dimensions and light weight, making it useful for getting into restricted areas or where extreme portability is desired. It has the same attachments as the MARK I. Adapter plates for ½" through 4" flanges. OD capacity is 6 3/16".

The MARK III SHORT CUT is a larger machine designed to reface flanges up to 10 ½" outside diameter.
A 4-jaw adapter chuck is used to locate and secure the machine on flat, raised or recessed face flanges up to
16 ½" OD; no adapter plates are furnished.
