High Capacity Water Pressure Regulator- Series 127W

Sizes: 3" and 4" (80 and 100mm)

Watts 4" (100mm) F127W is a remote control type regulator having wide industrial or institutional application where a regulator must reach full capacity with a minor drop in reduced pressure. They are also particularly suited to applications where close pressure regulation is required through extensive changes in water volume demand. Series F127W has heavy duty iron body construction with bronze and stainless steel working parts. Construction is single seated, renewable stainless steel seat, durable rubber disc and high temperature resisting diaphragm. Maintenance is simplified by outstanding features permitting simplified servicing in quickest possible manner. Suffix WR - (4" size only) is provided with ¾" (20m m) No. 223 auxiliary regulator. Piping is not provided. Note: No. 127W is also available in 3" (80mm) size with threaded connections and bronze body. For flanged iron body in 3" (80mm) size, specify F127W. These are not furnished with bypass tapping.

RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION :

The 4" (100mm) F127W is provided with ¾" (19mm) tapping on the supply and discharge side. This enables you to economically install an auxiliary regulator, facilitating installation and eliminating expensive fittings.This auxiliary installation provides greatest maintenance service ability and better regulation for installations where extreme low demand periods are frequent. The smaller size regulator effectively serves low volume demands.

SPECIFICATIONS

When street main pressure exceeds 60 psi (413 kPa), a Watts No. F127W Water Pressure Reducing Valve should be installed to maintain a reduced outlet pressure to 60 psi (413 kPa) or lower. Device shall be equipped with ³8" tapping to receive equalizer piping and equipped with ¾" tappings to receive auxiliary regulator piping for low flow requirements. Watts Regulator Company 4" No. F127W.

MATERIALS

Sizes 3" and 4" (80 and 100mm) No. F127W have flanged iron bodies “triple coated” with special corrosion preventative materials superior to hot dip galvanizing.
