Series 223B

Series N223B incorporates one of the most experience-proven designs available and for many years has demonstrated its adaptability to many and varied services. It can be furnished with a separate strainer. Threaded connections 2 ½" and 3" (65 and 80mm). Standardly furnished with built-in bypass and sealed cage features. Reduced Pressure Range: Adjustable from 25 to 75 psi (172 to 517 kPa). OPTIONS S - For separate strainer assembled with a nipple Z8 - Adjustable pressure range 75 to 125 psi (5.17 to 8.62 bars) 3" only. SPECIFICATIONS

When main supply pressure exceeds 60 psi (413 kPa) an approved water pressure water reducing valve and strainer shall be installed to maintain the reduced outlet pressure 50 psi (345 kPa) or lower. The pressure regulator shall feature a sealed spring cage, bronze body construction and a renewable stainless steel alloy seat. The seat disc shall be Buna-N and shall be replaceable without special tools. Valve shall feature a built-in bypass for thermal expansion. Approved valves shall comply with all applicable requirements of ASSE 1003 and shall be a Watts Regulator Company model N223BS.
