Series N223F are large capacity water regulators with flanged connections for dependable control of commercial and industrial applications. Their design includes a semi-balanced piston feature which assures rapid response to reduced pressure changes and provides maximum flow with minor pressure drop. Iron body construction with bronze and stainless steel working parts. For lasting performance, valves are coated with special corrosion-preventative type of cold galvanizing. |  |

As noted a galvanized cast iron pressure reducing valve with a semi-balanced stainless steel piston and nylon reinforced diaphragm shall be installed to reduce static set pressure to 50 psi. Valve shall feature a renewable stainless steel seat and feature a sealed spring cage. Valve shall be tapped and plugged ¾" on both inlet and outlet sides for bypass valving. Valve shall be protected by a strainer. Main valve shall be a 3" Watts Regulator model N223FS and the bypass valve shall be a ¾" Watts Regulator model 223 set at 60 psi.

Max. Temperature: 160°F (71°C).
Initial Pressure - Up to 175 psi (12 bars)
Reduced Pressure Range - Adjustable from 25 to 75 psi (172 to 516 kPa), set for 50 psi (344 kPa) no flow unless otherwise specified.
